With W buffering, the game sends a scaled 1/W value that should range from 0-65535. I think W would be the equivalent of a Q value in RRedline. (Which RRedline only uses for perspective correction.)
Perhaps you can just use the OOW value in place of the OOZ value, and it will work. Or maybe a little bit more math is required.
The textures are probably 8-bit. We should convert them to 16-bit. It may be best to do it on the CPU on a P166 or faster; for something slower you want to use RRedline to do it. (This is what I understand from VQuake.)
By the way, the game's sound isn't working. I think maybe Big RRed Croc 2 is stealing the focus away from the game window. The first Croc did not do this, and the sound worked. (Although all we saw was a black screen.)
The focus-stealing problem is the first trouble I had with Big RRed and it's important to fix it. When the game calls grSstWinOpen, RRedline will always steal the focus away from the game. That's why you see code in there to set the focus back.
